Assalam u alaikum!Ao Stari ma shai!
My dear brothers and sisters, in the grace of Allah, I'm proud to be

a member of this Hujra "Zrobaiwala", the gentlepersons who created

and built this historic Hujra Forum, for the benefit of Zarobaiwala,

are extremely praiseworthy and appreciatory. Although, this Hujra Forum

has been built especially for the Zarobaiwala but, I believe that all other

Pakhtoon may benefited and lighten themselves form the light of this hujra

because hujra is the place in pakhtoon culture where we learn the principle

of life, hujra is our school, hujra is the academy of learning, a place of

learning and excellency, and the wisdom of our kingdom,

Dear brothers and sisters, zarobai is a place with stunning variety

of scenery, industrious and intellectual people, ways of life, and

particularly, the up and downstream course of the Abaseen………

Nowhere in Pakhtoonkhawa has more heroic, historic, and romantic

or exciting reputation than the Zarobai – the land of

Sikunder Shah Sadat Afghan, and the land of the brilliant

and distinguish people…..…Zarobai has all the vigour and the

colour of a distinguish town. ... …Zarobai is derived from ZAROBAIL,

Bail or Bal was "sun god" in ancient Babylonia….. And 'zarobail' was

the name of one Babylonian emperor. (Hafiz Muhammad Ibrahim Zarobvi,

Sadrul Mudarriseen, P 29). Furthermore, zaroba was the elder sister of

Prophet Daud. (Roshun Khan, Tarekh Hafiz Rahmat Khawani, P 301).

Dear readers, the consistency and compatibility of these words with

zarobi or zarobai consolidate that these words journeyed with Bani Israel

and shaped itself into Zarobi or Zarobai but, the most resent research

declares that the word zarobi, zarobai or zareba or zaribai meaning

is: "a stockade or other palisaded enclosure for protecting a village

or camp." (Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia, P 798).Dear brothers

and sisters, if we go back and look attentively, the architectural plan and

design of this village, so then this evident needs no exposition.
My dear zarobaiwala and all other pakhtoon brothers and sisters:
1) Please pace forward, share your thoughts, contribute the
light of your knowledge, make this hujra a symbol for others with your

 great new and knowledgeable ideas;
2) Use the base of this hujra for a mission which is to serving humanity by disseminating Pakhtoonwali teaching and to eradicate the moral and social

 evils from our society;
3) I'm pretty sure that this hujra is innovative and
creative based on members' new strong healthy Pakhtoon ideas and

new type of activities;
4) I'm strongly believe that this hujra will encourage
Zarobaiwala of all ages, groups, social and economic levels and all

others Pakhtoon people of all ages, groups, dialect, social and economic

levels to participate with this hujra;
5) I hope that this hujra will also develop and encourage
partnership with community groups, residents, local businesses,

agencies, non-profit organizations and government;
6) I think that this hujra will actively promote a healthy
community and environment, and to ensure that there will be no

 barriers to members and partnership;
7) I understand that the motive of this hujra is to informing
and inviting Zarobaiwala to share their sorrow and joy, to
communicate each other, to learn the way of achievement and also

all other pakhtoon people to understand Pakhtoon culture and

Pakhtoonwali in order to live happily in this planet.

It really made me very happy to witness that a Kaliwal
forum of learned people has been established and
myself was made a member to it. Being yahoo my second
address having occasional visit to it made my response
substantially late for which I feel really sorry.
Keep it up

Salaam to all:

Could someone tell us in detail as to what happened to Bela?
I read in one of messages that it has been sold. How was the deal done?
And by whom? And what is going to happen to the money received? I
believe that it will be a great loss to Zarobai if anyone decided to
sell Bela.

Wassalaam.

Re: Bela

salamoona
Bela kho kharsa shwa aw khalqo pa tanooroono
ke bala hum krra za aw ta khabar hum na sho...

It is a great sorrow that we lost a great treasure which was the
property of this village. This is for the information of all of us
that this bela was at the huge area of 19000 kanal green belt. This is
very unusual with us as the world is thinking rather in great
worried to not having such type of green fields in such a big area
and everyone in the world is trying to regain the beauty of
envoirnment which they are losing due to modern complexities. And
contrary to the world attitude we have lost this green belt and the
most frustating matter in this respect is that no one was there to
stop this humiliating decision.
I hope that in future if we could face such a problem ,members of
this forum will discuss that in this hujra and will use every
oppurtunity they have,to stop such activities. This is because that
such type of decision can give benefit to an individual but in the
long run it will harm a community.

Does anyone know how much the Bela was sold for?  And what were the  trems? I saw the poll, but one should not pass> judgement til we have all the the relevant facts. For what I heard is that since Abbaseen will not get water any more, Bela was going to be  lost in a few years. If this is correct than I think the best solution would have  been to sell it on more reasonable price and use the money towards a project that could have been benefitial to the whole own and not for  the few indiviuals to pocket money. If anyone has more details, please let us know. . Badee, that is a nice picture you have posted. > > Til

Dear Friend !!
Thanx for your keen concern on selling of our zarobi
bela.Let me tell you the whole story of this damn
deal.
The so called Masharan of our kalee for their own
interset did this deal on a thrown away price. if they
really want to sell for the village interest then they
should called a Jerga and try to on a open bed ( to
take rate openly )which ever give higher rate then to
sold it. But unfortunatly they did't do so and for
their own pocket they crushed it all.
I have been informed now, that they are now
distributing the money which they got from this deal
on Leeka wise on each tapa. Hope you understand all
what its mean Leeka wise and tapa.
If you have any question plz let me know by return.
Larey Ta stergey.

Dear All.

I now believe that mericles do happen now also, and
this was of course not less than a mericle for me when
I found a friend of my past (Mr.Abdul Salam Ustad)whom
I thought having gone with the wind. This could get
materialized only through our Hujra and once again I
thank Mr.Zarin Zada and Mr.Ilyas who did all the
needful to make the Hujra a success.

Enough for today.

Zarobi

lacated about 2 hours from peshawer and 3 hours from islamabad , its
a marvel of nature, we have a big river that runs freely to the
south ............of our village over some land.
in short the town that i grew up in is a very soothing and relaxing
place to live if you are rich, political affliation is critical for
your voice of reason. the town is sharply devided between
relegious , and moderate muslims. i am for preserving the history
and rich heritage of my town. it pains to see it grow in to a
moderen monster taking over the simple things in
life................

I was quite surprised that you responded.......jazaahkallah.  I
obtained
your email address from a family friend.  I was told that I would find
a website which you have created with detailed information on the
background of Zarobi.  I cannot seem to find this website....Do you have a website on Zarobi?
Anyway I have visited Zarobi on two occasions with my parents and I
respect my culutural roots.  The people seemed very warm and friendly and i
especially liked the countryside and sea nearby.   But I still feel
that the village lacks new technology e.g gas, electric, economy and quality
education...do you agree? Even though we are in the year 2001.

Anyway I've got to go ...thankyou once again for replying.
